Christmas Basket Fund leaps past 1967 pace in Seymour
The 1968 Christmas Basket Fund, co sponsored by Seymour American Legion Post No. 89 and the Seymour Daily Tribune, has raised 92 dollars from eight donors in two days, already surpassing last year's pace of 58 from 10 donors. Donations support food baskets and toys for needy Seymour families, with gifts payable to Christmas Basket Fund at LeRoy Pollett or the Daily Tribune office.

Marie Collins a 17 year old from Austin died in a car crash on Indiana State Road 250 east of Uniontown Jennings County. The driver Bennie Tyree 18 suffered a minor head abrasion. The car overturned on ice caused fatal injuries to Collins who was ejected. Police urge seat belt use. Funeral services set in Hyden Kentucky.

Seven Receive Trophies At Jackson County Pistol Club Banquet
At the Jackson County Fish and Game Club in Rockford, the Pistol Club handed seven trophies and awards during a Sunday night banquet. John M.
