Autos Damaged in Tipton Poplar Intersection Crash
Damage totaling about 300 dollars occurred to two automobiles at the Tipton and Poplar streets intersection. Man Fined In Reckless Driving Crash Near Seymour
William E. Morton 19 of South Bend was fined 14 dollars total after pleading guilty to reckless driving in C. C. Elliott's Seymour court. Morton, arrested by Officer Robert Konkle, left the highway on Alternate U. S. Road 31 and struck a concrete wall north of Seymour early Monday after saying he fell asleep at the wheel.

Ervin Schnitker, 38, died Wednesday night at his home near Waymansville on Cortland R1 after a two year illness. Born April 19, 1910 in Jackson county, he lived his entire life in the area and belonged to St. Peter's Lutheran Church. He is survived by three brothers and three sisters.
