William James Leighton, 48, of Seymour, died at Sehneck Memorial Hospital after a monthlong heart disease illness. He worked as a chemist and dyer at Seymour Woolen Mills and lived at 708 North Pine Street. Funeral services are set for 7:30 PM Wednesday at Voss Mortuary with Rev. Kenneth Murphy. burial in Philadelphia. He was born September 5, 1893 in Garrettford, Pa. The mother, Susan Leighton, survives.

Mrs Mary Dickmeyer Dies At Home In Seymour
Mrs Mary Dickmeyer age seventy nine lifelong Jackson County resident died at her home on West Second Street Road after a fourteen week illness with multiple diseases. Funeral services were held at Immanuel Lutheran Church with Rev Streufert in charge and burial in the Lutheran Cemetery. She was born May 27 1862 in Brownstown Township to Fred and Wilhelmina Waldkoetter and survived by five children including Henry Dickmeyer of Seymour and Mrs David Wart of Springfield Ohio.
