Refuge Property To Be Sold At Public Bids
Bids for eight buildings on the Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge near Seymour will be opened at 2 30 p m Friday Dec 18 at the federal building in Seymour. Buildings to be sold include a 24 by 36 block garage on the Kretzer tract and five structures on the Elmer Boxman tract in Jackson County plus two on the Oren Shade tract. Inspection allowed by Dec 17 with bid forms available from the refuge manager or at field headquarters. All buildings are for off site disposal.

City Recreation Board To Seek Bids For Car
Seymour Recreation Board members authorized bids for a station wagon for the parks and recreation department to be opened January 18. Fort Vallonia Days Set for October 1971
Fort Vallonia Days will be held Saturday and Sunday October 16 and 17 1971. The celebration becomes an annual event on the third weekend each October. Charles Plummer presented a plaque to Ron nie Shoemaker founder and longtime president of the planning group. Mrs Noble Smith announced two fundraising card parties on January 9 and February 13 and said the executive committee will meet in January to appoint sub committees. An auditing committee was named.
