City Okays Pension For Fire Captain

The Seymour Fire Department captain Dale David Hinds 35 of 920 Orchard Drive is granted a disability pension by the Board of Public Works and Safety effective December 1 1966. The board also approved sewer connections bids wage scale for remodeling and two new fire stations and authorized bid advertising for a used back hoe loader.

Driver Is Cited After Collision Near Seymour

A young Indianapolis driver, Claude Mollett 21, was cited for failure to yield the right of way after a two car crash on U S 50 east of Seymour at 6 55 p m. Larry Stanfield 17 of Seymour R2 drove the other car. Stanfield's vehicle sustained about 100 dollars in damage while Mollett's car needed about 250 dollars in repairs.

Restoration Bid Sought for Vernon Mill Landmark

Governor Branigin is urged to support restoring the Tunnel Mill near Vernon on the Muscatatuck river as a historical site.
