Library Board Okays Transfer of Funds

Christmas Choral Concert At Shields High School

Man Sent To Reformatory For Forgery
Ronald G. Hohenstreiter 29 of Seymour Ind was sentenced in Jackson Circuit Court to not less than two nor more than 14 years in the Indiana state reformatory plus a 100 fine and costs after pleading guilty to forgery. A second forgery charge was dismissed. He had been released on parole but violated it by attempting to cash a forged 43 50 check at a Seymour grocery store. He admitted passing four other worthless checks totaling 101. A Seymour couple Dor othy W Smith 32 and Frank L Smith 38 faced arraignment deferred until Saturday on fraudulent checks. they posted 1000 bonds and were arrested in the 200 block East Fifth Street.
