Vandals broke into Edinburg high and grade schools Monday night and caused over 250 dollars in damage. Egg shells and dirty dishes found in the home economics room indicate a midnight snack was eaten. Meat sandwiches and tomato juice were consumed, reportedly baiting mouse traps. Similar incidents were noted at Scottsburg Austin and Crothersville, with Hope school in Bartholomew county also reporting a break-in.

Two Men Held In Theft of Car
Two Grand Rapids men are jailed in Kingston Tennessee after a Crosley car stolen from Seymour at night on November 26 was recovered. Ronald Foster and John Laarman face federal charges under the Dyer Act for transporting a stolen vehicle across state lines. The two were held by the Kingston sheriff and are to be turned over to the FBI.
