Vagabond Edward Lyman Fined For Vagrancy In Maywood Case
Edward Lyman a 22 year old from Maywood Pa suburb of Philadelphia was fined 50 dollars plus costs 60 after pleading vagrancy in city court before Mayor Charles L Kessler. He was accused of forcing entry to the Honan porch and was arrested nearby as neighbors alerted police. He will be sent to the penal farm to serve the fine.

Jeffersonville Ind December 8 Authorities pursue a crew said to include five white robed masked men who beat Mrs Leslie Taylor and Mrs Pearl Keewn into unconsciousness at the Taylor home in Dead Man's Hollow. Pasquale Pitassi 53, a World War veteran with gassed memories, was taken into custody near Seymour as he fled hallucinations of five men pursuing him. Police, American Legion members, and railroad police tracked relatives. his brother George was located in Louisville to escort him home. Pitassi enlisted in 1918 in Detroit and was discharged in 1919 at Mitchell Field. he holds an honorable discharge and naturalization papers.

Complete Farm Figures Secured in Jackson County Survey
John Ray of the bureau of census has arranged an eight week survey in Jackson county with seven enumerators to collect farm statistics.
