Indianapolis engineer Charles I Turd agreed to prepare profiles and specifications for Seymour's proposed sanitary sewage system with pay set at two and a half percent of construction cost. City will not hold a public vote, despite council debate, as majority fear voting against the project by current users of the existing system. The plan includes pumping station, screens, clarification tanks, force mains to the river sewer, main sewer line and five district sewers.

Paving contract finished on State Highway No 1 south of city
The Wabash Construction Company completed concrete paving on a nine mile section of State Highway No 1 from the Newry Bridge over the Muscatatuck to near Crothersville.
