Man Fined for Driving Under Influence Here
Herbert Anderson pleaded guilty to operating a motor vehicle under the influence. In city court before Mayor Donald L. Herwig this morning he was fined 50 dollars with 11.75 dollars costs and a 90 day license suspension recommended. He was arrested Thursday night by city police. Trial of Everett Money for assault and battery, filed by Robert Mitchell, is set for Saturday morning. Money pleaded not guilty Thursday.

Auto Stolen From Brownstown Man Seeks Missing 1950 Car
State police from Seymour and southern Indiana authorities are seeking a 1950 light blue automobile stolen from Brownstown. The car, owned by Finley Davidson, was taken from his Brownstown home Thursday night or early today and bears the license plate SL 45.

A 1950 model coach sustained about $350 in damage when it left State Road 135 one mile south of US 50 near Brownstown. It tore fencing and crossed a field before the driver fled the scene. Lt. Harry McMillin investigated and sought the owner, said to be a Seymour man.

Otho W. Hardesty 82 of Louisville died shortly before 6:30 this morning at Norton Infirmary after a 10 year illness. Born in Meade County he was the son of the late John A. and Marcia Hardesty and a Catholic. He is survived by two brothers J D Hardesty of Seymour and W H Hardesty of Louisville.
