Attack on Dr Rich Leads to Arrest in Scottsburg
John Gaver twenty one of Scottsburg was arrested after Dr G I AL Rich a Scottsburg chiropractor reported a brutal assault. A brick blow and strangling left the doctor with severe scalp wounds and a hair sample tied the suspect to the crime. Gaver allegedly confessed and hoped to steal the car to drive to Indianapolis. He was jailed in Salem to await arraignment on assault and battery with intent to commit a felony.
