John Jamison Dies at Vallonia Home
John Jamison a resident of the Vallonia area died Thursday shortly after noon at his home about five miles southwest of Vallonia after a period of illness. Funeral services are set for Saturday at 1 30 p.m. from White's Church with Rev. Walter Friend officiating. Burial will be in Harrell Cemetery. He was born August 30 1858 in Washington County, son of Charles and Louisa Chambers Jamison. He was married to Louisa Harrell who preceded him. Surviving are two children Roy and Miss Ethe Jamison, three brothers Manuel James and Jason, and two sisters Mrs Emma Denny and Mrs Josie Duenning.

Hermann Schulte dies after illness in Jackson county
Hermann G Schulte 76 a longtime Jackson county resident died at his home West Bruce street after a ten day illness. He was a retired cabinet maker once employed by Seymour Furniture Co and married Anna J Probst in 1888 at Aurora Indiana. Survived by his widow daughter Elizabeth sisters and several nieces and nephews. Funeral was held Sunday from his home and Immanuel Lutheran Church with burial in the Lutheran Cemetery.
