Wanted for Forgery and Robbery Arrested After Return
Clarence Robbins, once of this city, had been sought for two years on forgery and theft charges in Terre Haute Greenfield Washington and St Louis. He arrived in Seymour Friday night and was arrested Saturday morning, with Terre Haute first to demand his surrender. Funeral services for Lafa May age seventy nine of Seymour Route 1 will be held at his home Sunday morning. Burial will be in Knightstown. Mr. May died Thursday of heart disease and old age after an illness of several years. He was a farmer in Jennings county and Minnesota born in 1850. He was a Presbyterian and a member of the Odd Fellows. Surviving are sons Ernest and Otto, daughters Mamie Hopkins Pearl Amick Joy McCoy Lorene, Margaret Waughter, and Jessie Clark.
