Police Hold Two Men On Vagrancy Charges
City police hold two Ohio men in jail on vagrancy charges and suspicion of larceny. Dabert Simmers, 36, of Columbus, and Jason Lanter, 51, of Hamilton were arrested about 9 33 p m Tuesday in the 100 block of West Tipton street. Officers spotted them walking along Tipton street with a large leather sack filled with canned foods. Police say the goods may be stolen and the arrest was a routine check.

Two Hurt Treated At Schneck Hospital
Outpatients treated in Schneck Memorial Hospital Tuesday for minor injuries included Rebel Mayhan, 48, of 1621 South Walnut street with a three stitch wound to his right hand from a work accident, and four year old Jerry Barnes, son of Mr and Mrs John Barnes of Seymour R2, with a fractured left arm after a fall. Neither patient remained hospitalized after X rays and splints.
