Three local musicians and one from Columbus traveled to the U S Army Hospital at Camp Atterbury Tuesday night to perform in the Red Cross recreation room for patients. Jackson County Red Cross officials arranging the series announced Delbert Doc Anderson James Riley Cecil King and Paul Werhan led the music. Reliance Manufacturing furnished ice cream and the American Legion Auxiliary provided cookies with Mrs William Jones Mrs Lois Beatty and Mrs Dora Reynolds assisting with serving.

A 1937 model coach driven by Loren R. Jackson of Kurtz collided with a Pennsylvania switch engine and cars backing south near the B and O tracks on Jeffersonville Avenue in Indianapolis at noon.
