Hitch Hiker Struck By Pickup On Wet Road Outside Seymour
Luther Rash aged 48 of Covington Ky suffered arm and body bruises and abrasions after a light pickup owned by W Q Brackemyre Seymour Al and driven by T Harold Brackemyre 22 struck him on U S Route 31 50 about 2640 feet east of Seymour city limits. Raymond Durnham also of Covington was walking with Rash. Durnham was not struck. State police said the truck skidded on wet pavement as Brackemyre tried to avoid the pedestrian. Rash was treated by a Seymour physician and planned to continue to Covington with Durnham.
