Services for Burns Victim Conducted
Funeral services were held at Kurtz church for Norma Jean Coleman eight months old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gay Coleman who died from burns after falling into a tub of hot water Tuesday. Rev Greathouse conducted the service and burial was in Kurtz Cemetery. Surviving are the parents and a sister Betty Joe Coleman two and one half years old.

Teacher Bitten by Chow Dog in City Crossing
Miss Cornelia Bode, a teacher at Immanuel Lutheran School, was bitten on the arm and back by a chow dog as she crossed the intersection of St. Louis avenue and Walnut streets. Seymour police logged the incident at 8:40 this morning and sought to establish the dog’s ownership.

Thirty Pound Raccoon Bagged in Jennings County
Lawrence Arbuckle of South Poplar Street brought a record-sized raccoon to the Tribune. The animal weighed thirty pounds and measured forty three inches head to tail after being treed two nights by Arbuckle with John Isley and Noe Neal in Jackson County, crossing into Jennings County. Nine shots were fired with a twelve gauge shotgun. only three touches brought it down.

Two Additional Thefts Reported In Seymour
Seymour police report two more thefts as investigations continue into robberies from Monday and Tuesday nights. Three Killed In Plane Crash Near Richmond Airport
