Huge Distillery Seized by Officers Near Seymour
Federal agents and Deputy Sheriff Meridith Stewart raided the Bradley Young farm four miles northwest of Seymour. A 75 gallon still, 20 mash barrels, and 22 to 23 gallons of moonshine were seized. Owner Bradley Young was taken to New Albany for federal charges. he claimed he was warming himself by the fire.

Four Bandits Identified in Sulphur Springs Bank Hold Up
Four men were positively identified as part of the gang that robbed the Sulphur Springs bank. Paul Myler of Newcastle, William and Forrest Bright, brothers, and Trussell Johnson of Anderson were arrested in Detroit after cashier Lewis Wampler of the People's Bank at Sulphur Springs, seriously wounded in the November 17 holdup, identified them. Wampler has practically recovered from his bullet wound.
