DST Plan Is Approved by Senate to Adopt Year Round Time

The Senate approved a year round Daylight Saving Time plan 68 to 10, with the House agreeing to a 15 day adjustment period for industries. The bill lets states exempt from advancing clocks if it causes undue hardship, and the FCC would adjust rules for small radio stations.

Census Study Planned For Farm Workers Survey

A federal survey of households will occur during December 10 to 15 to gather data on farm work for pay and migratory farm labor over the past five years.
