Rockford bridge on Old U. S. 31 remains closed indefinitely after a crack was found in the west foundation wall. A Waymansville bridge project was unveiled with Ray Woodward hired to prepare plans. the new span will be 80 feet long and about five feet higher.

A four o’clock Monday crash on Broadway near Centennial street caused about 2000 in damages. Seymour residents Don Brown 19 driving a 1967 sports car and Jerry Murphy 27 in a Storey Oil Co truck collided when Brown swung wide to avoid traffic. No injuries or fire were reported.

Four Fined On Contributing To Minors Charges
Four Covington men pleaded guilty in Seymour city court to contributing to the delinquency of a minor and were fined $15 plus costs by Judge William M. Jones. Sholler also paid a $5 fine for no driver's license. the 17 year old was turned to juvenile authorities. All four jailed in Browns Town for nonpayment.
