Funeral services for Mrs. Willis Lucas mother of Roy Lucas will be held Saturday afternoon at Indian Prairie Church Carlisle Indiana. She died Thursday morning at her Carlisle home aged 75 after a lifetime in Sullivan. She was mother to nine children and known to local residents after visiting the area.

J Marion Gray 82 retired blacksmith died early this morning at Schneck Memorial Hospital after a yearlong illness. He operated shops at Lesterville Tampico Brownstown and Freetown Indiana and was born near Pekin February 14 1865. Survived by wife Mattie Story Gray four children two sons and two daughters, a brother and three sisters, many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral 2 pm Sunday at Voss Mortuary with Dr A A Cohn, burial in Fairview Cemetery Brownstown.
