Agrico Expands to 10000 Tons Capacity at Seymour Plant
Agrico advances to a second phase of a 250000 dollar expansion at the American Agricultural Chemical plant east of Seymour. Walter K Stone on site says a new 80 by 120 foot steel addition will cost about 52000 dollars and add 2000 tons of fertilizer storage bringing total capacity to 10000 tons ready for shipment. The project follows last fall’s granulation upgrades and aims to improve storage and delivery for farmers.

Youth Wounded In Gun Accident Crothersville Teen Shot at City Dump
A Crothersville youth was treated and released at Schneck Memorial Hospital after accidentally shooting himself at about 3 45 p m at the city dump while shooting rats with a .22 revolver. Robert Allen Emily, 22, of Crothersville, admitted the firearm discharged as he drew it from its holster. The bullet struck the youth in the right thigh and exited behind the leg. He received initial care from a Crothersville physician before hospital treatment.
