Highway Worker Killed On Bridge In Indiana
Lewis Edward Kidd 63 of Crothersville Rl was struck on an icy Ind 250 bridge over Hough Creek near Brownstown and died instantly. Edwin Patman 31 of Seymour was driving about 50 mph. verdict ruled death accidental. Kidd was a Hambleton native and Indiana State Highway Commission worker for five years. survived by widow Anie Tucker and four children plus extended family. Funeral at Tampico Baptist Church with burial in Russell Chapel Cemetery.

Forty ASC representatives from 10 counties met at the REMC building in Brownstown to review 1958 corn allotment problems and procedures. Seymour Planning and Zoning Commission amended and adopted a master plan ordinance governing thoroughfares and subdivision control.
