He says student government is a distant goal and emphasizes current student oversight and discipline until students prove capable. A four from each upper class, two from each lower class, and one from junior high sit on the body studying a code of ethics.
The Owls adjust positions after a scrimmage as Skeets Moore nurses an ankle. McFadden moves to forward, Goens and McCord rotate at forward, Ward and Aufderheide vie for back guard, Walters and McFadden to start at forwards, Payne centers, with seats on sale for the Bedford game.

William A Wiley aged 76 died suddenly Tuesday afternoon at his North Broadway home from heart disease. Born in 1853 to Jonathan and Phoebe Wiley in Canada, he came to the area 25 years ago from Martinsville and worked in chair making. He was an unholsterer by trade and ran a home shop. Survived by an adopted daughter Gertrude Fielding and sister Mrs George Faxon. Funeral likely Friday with Riverview cemetery burial after arrangements.
Pa trick J. Sullivan, Casper oil and sheepman, longtime Wyoming Republican national committeeman, is appointed to temporarily succeed the late Francis E. Warren in the U S Senate. Gov. Frank C Emerson announced the appointment, to serve until a special senatorial election next month. The decision followed a central Republican committee meeting endorsing Sullivan.

Washington December 4 James P Noonan vice president of the American Federation of Labor and president of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers was badly burned in his apartment fire. Firemen found him on the floor after a neighbor reported smoke. He was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
A woman once Miss Elsie Hesse now bears seven or more married names after her latest marriage to James Flesher. Over 15 years she has had eight names due to marriages and divorces, with two husbands dying and multiple separations. She is now 33 years old.
