Lowell Pugh 12, son of Mr and Mrs Frank Pugh of 809 West Laurel, was injured Friday night when his bicycle collided with Julian Betz of East Second Street, at Sixth and Chestnut. He suffered a head wound, back strain, and a leg bruise but no broken bones, and was taken to Sehneck Memorial Hospital after initial care by neighbors. Betz, driving north on Chestnut, turned left into Sixth and stopped. the boy lacked a light on the bicycle and may have misjudged the turn.
