An unemployed radio news man, William Junior West of Milroy, held on $20,000 bail for robbing the North Meridian branch of American Fletcher National Bank. FBI said West may be linked to a $1,980 Indianapolis bank robbery on Aug. 20, 1964 and a $3,000 Louisville holdup in December 1964. West was captured minutes after the holdup when Patrolman James Dailey stopped him near his car. loot was found in the coat lining and West had discarded the revolver and hat inside.
