Maurice A. Moriarty of Indianapolis arrived with a Sey mour wrecker at Hangman s Crossing west of Seymour to remove his car from B&O tracks. An eastbound B and O passenger train struck the vehicle, pushing it about 250 feet east and against a bank, with Moriarty reporting he was driving on old road 50 when the wheels caught and the car went onto the tracks.

Arraign Three In City Court In Seymour
Three men appeared before Mayor C. W. Burkart in Seymour city court. Wayne Johnson and Leon Jaynes pleaded guilty to public intoxication and were fined 11. They were arrested Friday afternoon on Indianapolis avenue by Officer Melvin Jerrell. Francis Burke pled guilty to public intoxication but not guilty to drawing a dangerous weapon charged by Sylvia Rude. Chief Julius G. Harlow and Officer Jerrell arrested him Friday afternoon. Trial on the weapon charge was set for today.
