Hearing Continued On Work Assessment For North O'Brien
A hearing on the North O'Brien street improvement and curb installation was continued for one week after property frontage disputes were raised. Mr and Mrs Matthew Snyder challenged 75 ft frontage instead of 55 ft for their 737 East Fourth Street lot, Gary Emy questioned 96 ft frontage vs 71 ft for his 612 North O'Brien Street lots, and railroad rep H T Paton noted frontage only along Fourth to Seventh streets. The council, with Mayor James L Laupus presiding, moved the matter to December 8 for further advisement.

Nixon Gets Wage Control Through April 1973
The Senate approved 86 to 4 a bill extending wage price and rent controls to April 1973 and restoring retroactive raises for workers who lost pay during the Aug 15 to Nov 14 freeze. Two Hurt In Three Car Crash On U S 50
Two people were injured in a three car crash on U S 50 at the Airport Road intersection early today. Leeroy Davidson and Judy Catlett, both passengers in Henry Hall s pickup, were treated at a local hospital. The incident occurred about 6 53 a m and caused damages to three vehicles totaling about 2500. Police noted it as one of five mishaps reported in the last 24 hours.
