Man Pleads Not Guilty On Four Of Five Charges
John Logan Durham of Indianapolis pleaded not guilty to four charges in Jackson Circuit Court. A fourth charge with two counts was deferred. He faced DUI second offense and driving while suspended in three-vehicle incident on Ind. 135. Bond set at 1000 dollars with counsel ordered. Additional not guilty pleas entered on three prior charges with bonds 500 each. attorney appearances required within seven days. Grand larceny arraignment postponed to Dec. 14 for legal counsel. Other cases include a jury trial for the state versus James Ryan for receiving stolen goods and multiple separation petitions in kidnapping and robbery cases involving Bedford youths. Dispositions in two divorce suits resulted in dismissals at plaintiffs' costs.

Seven Hurt In Crash Involving Four Autos
A weekend spate of crashes near Seymour on U S 31 left seven injured in a four vehicle wreck south of the New Hope Church of the Brethren.
