Two Fire Runs Made Over Weekend
Seymour fire department answered two weekend blazes. A Sunday morning fire caused considerable damage in an initial incident. At 2 40 o clock Sunday they were called to 417 Indianapolis avenue to tackle smoldering flames under an upstairs fireplace in an apartment occupied by Mr and Mrs Lloyd Moren and family. Firemen had to tear away part of the fireplace to reach the flames confined to the floor.

Drunk Driving Cases Brought in City Court
Three motorists were fined for driving while intoxicated and a fourth for public intoxication in a weekend city court session before Mayor Stanley A. Switzer. Riley Allman of Seymour paid 20 with a 10 day license suspension after pleading guilty to DWI. Meckeny Cox of Indianapolis and Harold D.
