Freetown bank robber in custody after nationwide search
Ralph Lucas and George Mc Kain identified Austin Bell as one of three men who held up the Farmers Bank at Freetown on November 28. Bell was captured after an eighty four hour search across six Indiana counties, suffering a gunshot wound and taken to Bedford jail. Investigators link Bell with accomplices Grady Sherill and Fred Glover as the other suspects.

Peter Reagen Passes Beyond Railroad Man Dead at Eighty
Word reached here that Peter Reagen a well known railroad man aged about eighty has died. He lived in Cincinnati and had been retired for some time. Surviving are a son P. F. Reagen of Cincinnati and a daughter Mrs Thomas Mullen of Montreal. Funeral arrangements were not completed but the funeral party is to arrive on the National Limited next Monday morning.

Death summons Mrs. Caroline Dickmeyer at 83
Mrs. Caroline Dickmeyer age eighty three died at 2 30 this morning at her daughter s home two miles west of Seymour on U S Road 50 after about a year of illness with complications. Born March 18 1849 in Hanover Germany she came to the United States in 1851 with her parents. She was married to Henry Dickmeyer who died in 1919 and they had twelve children seven surviving. Funeral services set for Sunday at 1 30 from the Siefker home and 2 from Emanuel Lutheran Church with Rev FE H Eggers officiating. Burial in Brownstown cemetery.
