Autos Damaged in Collision on Tipton Street
Two cars were damaged about 55 in a Thursday collision on Tipton street near Vine street. Walter Buckholz of Cincinnati drove a 1950 sedan from Vine street and turned onto Tipton. Muriel Trapp of Seymour R3, driving west on Tipton in a 1938 car, struck Buckholz from behind. Trapp was cited for defective brakes and ordered to appear in city court.

John W Lucas, 87, of Freetown, died at the state hospital in Madison after a three year illness. He leaves 92 direct descendants including 12 children, 48 grandchildren, and 32 great grandchildren. Born July 17, 1863 in Freetown, he lived part of his life in Kansas before returning to the county 17 years ago. His wife, Minnie Tatlock, preceded him in death.
