The first day of a ten day revival at First Presbyterian drew a larger crowd than Sunday. Rev. Buford W. Tyler preached on The Lost and The Found from three parables. The evening featured a strong choir led by Rev. O P Wamsley and a quartet including Mrs L Kessler and Miss Rachel Barbour.

Mrs. John Alberring Sr died at 413 South Chestnut Street Saturday at 2 30 PM after two years of poor health. Born Lisette Hoe Ven er in 1842 in Hanover Germany she came to America at age five. Surviving children include John Henry Mrs Edward Steinwedel Mrs Fred Schneider Mrs Gee Starlow Mrs Martin Schneider Mrs Wm Schuerman Lula and Lisette with seventeen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Funeral from her home at 1 30 PM Tuesday and 2 PM at the Lutheran church with services in German and English conducted by Rev F H Eggers. Burial in Lutheran cemetery.

Mrs. Fred Cothren formerly Miss Fairy Gibson a Seymor born resident died at her Belgrade home Saturday evening at 7 45 o clock after a year long illness She was born May 9 1889 and lived here until 1915 later moving to La Junta Colorado She married Fred Cothren in 1917 and moved to Belgrade She is survived by her husband two children Clyde Clayton and Florence their home two brothers Orville Gibson and Clyde Patton a half brother Funeral arrangements were not announced.

Raymond Hall Dies After Lingering Illness at 34

Hunters found about twenty tags from clothing a cheese and shoe boxes identified as taken from the People's Mercantile Company of Ewing in a November robbery. Marks were located north of White River near Shale Hill as Brownstown sportsmen hunted. Sheriff Hays said no clue yet to identify the burglars. The raid took place after 2 AM November 23 with goods valued around 200 dollars. The thieves apparently removed identification marks at the scene.

Rear-End Collision at Englewood Kills Woman and Injures Many
A Pennsy Railroad crash at Englewood station near Chicago left one woman dead and a child fatally injured, with more than twenty others hurt. The Columbus Ohio express collided into a slower local as both trains approached Englewood.
