Lewis Otte and William Wayman of Brownstown captured and killed a fox while hunting near Tampico on Friday morning. This marks the second fox taken in a ten day span in the same county area noted for the upcoming big drive by about 2,000 people. Previously Ed Schurman and son found a fox southeast of Brownstown while cutting wood.

Katherine Malm known as the wolf girl attempted to hang herself in the West Chicago police station washroom. She confessed companion of Otto Malm and vowed not to fail again, saying she loved Otto too much to cause trouble. Rescue workers lowered her, rope broke and restored circulation.
