The Seymour board of public works and safety heard plans for a 50 foot wide High School Drive surrounding Seymour Senior High School. The project would connect West Gate Road to West Fourth Street, providing access to the north and west sides of the campus and opening new development in Westgate Manor. Deeds of dedication are to be prepared for school and Westgate lands, with final construction by the street department as weather allows.

Man is Stabbed Twice in Jennings County Yard
Earl Simpson, 47, of Crothersville R2 near Uniontown, was stabbed in the back twice in his yard around 1:30 to 2 a m. He was treated at Schneck Memorial Hospital for two deep back wounds and released. Trooper Robert O. Stanley said Simpson reported hearing a car door and was unable to identify the assailant or motive.

Two boys were treated as outpatients at Schneck Memorial Hospital on Wednesday. Harold Graessle Davidson five years old was admitted at 10 30 a m with a cut foot after breaking glass in his yard. Thomas Hallow twelve years old tripped over a wire at home injuring his left arm and received a wrist and arm X ray and a cast at 5 45 p m.

Two Slightly Hurt In Ind 11 Crash Near Seymour
Two persons were slightly injured in a one car crash on Ind 11 dating from 10 10 p m Wednesday about 3 7 miles south of Seymour. Colletta Waskom 19 of 419 West Bruce reported driving a 1962 coach on the highway when she crossed the center line while rounding Theele’s corner and struck a utility pole head on. Jerry Waskom 19 of the same address suffered two cuts on the left eye and four cuts on the right arm while Judy Burrell 19 of 619 North Walnut sustained minor injuries. The car was damaged about 700 dollars.
