Brownstown and Seymour Day drew near eighteen thousand people to Shields Park for the Jackson County Free Fair. Banks closed at noon to let workers attend while attendees from Brownstown Medora Wallonia Freetown and other areas reunited with old friends. Lost boy found near ferris wheel after three hour search

William Siebert age 72 longtime Jeffersonville resident died in Grace Hospital Detroit and was buried Thursday afternoon. Survived by wife and son Dr Alvin Seibert a physician in Grace Hospital. He was a retired Jeffersonville grocer with many local friends who attended the funeral include Mrs G G Graesstle Miss Anna Becker and Mr and Mrs George Winkenhofer.

Joe Burton and James Hudson, both of Seymour, were bound over to circuit court after pleading guilty to assault and battery and intoxication. Each posted a $1000 bond and is held pending arrangements to secure bail. The arrest followed a fight at the East Tipton street miniature golf course, injuring owner L. P.
