Evangelist Jack Kinser 51, a Heltonville native and former Columbus resident, died Monday in Tucson after a heart attack while being moved for treatment. He preached 18 years in the Pentecostal denomination. Survived by widow Faye Draper Kinser, three sons Delbert Ansel and Billy, two daughters Kathryn and Mrs Orville Graham, four brothers and three sisters, with services held Thursday in Tucson.

Four Large Fish Taken From Lake During Drainage
A Jackson county forest lake near Browns town yielded four large fish during a Thursday seining conducted by Indiana state fish and game division rep, with conservation officer Ivan Thompson and forest head Curtis Reynolds. Two buffalo weighed 40 to 45 pounds and two around 20 pounds. The fish will be displayed at the Indiana state fair.
