Justice, swift and sure, sentenced Albert Russell of Seymour and Louis Stucks of Minneapolis to ten to twenty five years in the penitentiary for highway robbery. They robbed William Dixon of $3 and a pocket knife on a westbound B&O freight near Seymour after flashing a badge and threatening him. Police Chief Misch and B&O detective McGuerty captured them nearby as Dixon flagged help.

Gottlieb Wulff age 65 prominent Jackson county farmer died at his home about 9 this morning after a yearlong illness. Heart disease and nervous disorders caused death. Funeral at his home Monday 1:30 p.m. followed by Lutheran service at 2 p.m. at the church with Rev. E. H. Eggers. Burial in Lutheran cemetery. Born Germany May 30 1864 he settled in Sauers township 42 years ago. Survived by wife Mary Meenning and three children Martin Frieda and William Whitt. a brother in Germany and three sisters in Germany and Sevomur. He was a member of the Lutheran Church.

Despite state tax commission disapproval bids will be sought and construction proceed unless litigation changes course. Miss Margaret Lamm of Coalmont in critical condition after a Pennsylvania railroad passenger train struck the auto she rode in, driving it 400 feet down the track.
