A Ford sedan overturned twice and burned on U 38 Road 31 north of Seymour injuring Mary Pittaso nine and her mother Mrs Josephina Pittaso. Mary died at Sehneck Memorial Hospital at 6 45 AM. Driver Joe Cudesoto and Mr Spurgin both suffered burns. The car carried a Chicago to Louisville party with about 300 in valuables lost in the blaze.
