Frank M. Darling aged sixty nine of 625 East Third street died at his home at 10:30 this morning after seven years of illness. A longtime city resident born November 21, 1863 in Anderson Indiana he was married in 1884 to Emma Gumpf. Survived by widow two daughters Carrie and Elizabeth and son John along with two grandchildren. Funeral arrangements to be announced.

Three Children Hurt In Mishap Near Hayden
Three young people were injured this afternoon near Hayden on U S Route 50 in what investigators suspected was a car crash. George Foster twelve and his sister Katherine were among the injured plus another boy whose name was not learned. The Foster boy could not recall the events clearly but remembered being in a car that drove onto the highway. He and his sister were taken to Sehneck Memorial Hospital.

Man Charged With First Degree Burglary
Oden Grubb of Monroe county eight miles from Blooming ton was arrested in Jackson county and jailed in Brownstown on a first degree burglary charge. He allegedly stole $12 from Grant Lutes’s home near the Jackson Brown county line. Lutes family members plan to identify him in Brownstown.
