Reds Pouring Across River Line Head-on Crash Kills Two
Ahead of the U S Road 31 collision near Seymour a cab-over engine wreck killed Charles Dean Waldrup 24 of Tampa and Ernest Lee Royal 43 of Screven. Ed Williams 39 of Louisville survived with injuries as rescuers freed them from the wreckage. Royal died at Schneck Memorial Hospital and Waldrup died soon after. Williams was hospitalized in satisfactory condition. The crash occurred early Sunday at the north entrance to the first edge southeast of the Krie te Turn.

Private First Class Jack Winburn age 19 son of Thurman Winburn Seymour R2 was reported wounded in action in Korea. He belongs to the 34th Infantry Regiment 24th Division and was last heard from six months ago while driving a jeep. His father received a telegram from Washington stating he was wounded in a hospital and doing okay.

Two Hurt in Accident Released from Hospital
Marvin K. Antle and William Weils of Jamestown Kentucky were injured in a late Sunday crash on U S Route 31 a half mile south of its junction with U S Route 50 east of the city. Both men were admitted to Schneck Memorial Hospital and have been released after treatment for their injuries. The collision involved a 1959 automobile head on with a southbound 1950 tractor pulling a new semi trailer.
