New Concrete Block Factory Opens on Indianapolis Avenue
A new factory for making concrete blocks has been established on Indianapolis avenue north of Ninth street behind the old chair factory. Robert Tuggle and Eugene Sage announced the venture. Blocks were first produced Wednesday in a temporary building, with plans for a permanent plant. The machine can produce two blocks at a time.

Hearing Set on Special Levy for Seymour Schools
A Sey mour board of education calls a 7:45 p m public hearing at Emerson School on August 29 to discuss a forty cent a year special building fund levy for five years. The levy funds erection or remodeling of school buildings and will be subject to state tax commission review. Taxpayers may be heard, and the resolution was adopted, with a 1947 levy proposal of 1 50 dollars, rising to 1 90 with the new levy.

Injured in Seymour Area Car Wreck Improve at Home
