Arthur Rogers of 314 Circle Street was arrested after liquor raids by federal agents. He was taken to Indianapolis for arraignment on liquor law violations after officers found one pint of whiskey at his residence. Coast Artillery Detachment to Camp Here Monday
A detachment of the 61st Coast Artillery en route from Camp Knox Kentucky to Fort Sheridan Illinois will stay overnight in this city Monday August 11. Four officers eighty five enlisted men and twenty vehicles with four guns will use Shields Park as a camping site and may demonstrate searchlights and equipment.
