Parker Sentenced Himself to Ninety Days for Public Intoxication
Theodore Parker of this city faced a June 16 arraignment before Mayor Switzer for public intoxication. The mayor fined him 10 dollars plus costs totaling 20 dollars and sentenced him to ninety days at the state penal farm, with a warning that a second arrest would send him to the farm without a hearing. Parker was arrested again Monday night on East Second street and jailed to await transport to the penal farm.

City pool attendance climbs with hot weather gains
