City Police Seize Marijuana Cache
The city police recovered a large quantity of marijuana valued over 3500 and jailed 19 year old Edward A. Mc Cullough on possession of dangerous drugs. He confessed bringing several sacks of marijuana to Jackson County and led officers to multiple storage sites. Three miles south of New Ford Road a bag and another along Waymansville Pike were found, plus a stash in an abandoned barn and near the Baltimore and Ohio tracks in Seymour. He claimed the weed weighed 162 pounds and said he intended to give it to friends rather than sell it.
