Tipton Indiana parolee Jack Geiselbach aged 20 faced murder charges after admitting to shooting five companions at a woods poker game. One man, Jack King 38, died. others, Chester McWilliams Carl Strong and George Gipson were wounded. Tommy Frawley escaped. Geiselbach fled in McWilliams car, wrecked it, then was captured after a firefight with deputies.

A 40 day summer program at Shields High School closed Friday with 108 students receiving report cards. Regular SHS students took courses including typing with David R. Shaw, government with W. B. Everdon, English with Kenneth N. Warbritton, biology with James F. Deputy, and driver education with J. Avery Dittmer. Rural North Vernon Man Involved In Early Morning Car Collision
