Reddington man loses right hand at Fox saw mill
John Stewart of Reddington, manager of the Interstate Public Service traction station and worker at the Fox saw mill, had his right hand amputated Tuesday afternoon after his hand was caught in a small cut off saw. The injury occurred about 3 45 pm and the operation took place at Schneck Memorial hospital. He will remain hospitalized several days before returning home. His wife Mrs. Stewart ran the Interstate station during the day while he worked nights.
