Burke Idaho April 25 four teen miners were rescued after 24 hours of entombment in the Heela Mining Company mine at 2000 feet. An aftershave cavern broke the air line just as the last men surfaced, a near fatal catastrophe. All were unharmed following the rescue.

New Rates Ordered for Bedford District
Indianapolis April 25 Small users of electric light and power in Bloomington and Bedford will benefit from new rates authorized by the Public Service Commission today while large power consumers pay more. Three hundred Hotchkiss School students aided four town fire departments in saving country homes of wealthy New Yorkers as a $100,000 blaze swept through the Interlaken Inn near Lakeville Connecticut.
