Herman Redicker Dies at Home Near Wegan
Herman Redicker aged 70 years 6 months 16 days died at home near Wegan after a period of illness from hardening of the arteries. He was born September 20 1854 and married January 5 1882 to Mary E B Pfenning. Surviving are wife daughter Clara Stahl two grandchildren Edgar and Gertrude Stahl two brothers George Redicker Phillip and three sisters. Funeral from the home Thursday at 1 PM with Prof W I Day of Wegan in charge. Burial in the old cemetery near Wegan.

State Conservation Man Addresses Brownstown Sportsmen
George N. Mannfeld of the state conservation department spoke to about 75 Jackson county sportsmen at Brownstown courthouse Monday night about the Fish and Game Club formed there. Attendees from Pershing Salt Creek Grassy Fork Driftwood Brownstown and Jackson township welcomed his first appearance and his talk encouraged broader conservation of fish and game and other natural resources.
