Danish Danish Luther an founder dies at 80 in Predsville
Andrew Larsen, aged 80, long resident of Mathfield township in Grundy County, died March 17 after a long illness. Born in Vejiby Denmark he immigrated in 1866 and helped establish the Danish Lutheran church at Fredsville. He and My Jens Larsen were among the first Danes to settle the area. Funeral services were held Thursday with Danish language sermon. He left a large family and was remembered for kindness and sound judgment.

Funeral was at 9:39 Saturday afternoon at Nome by Rev E D Hall. Body to be taken to Rowan Sunday morning for burial.
